To say that Nicolas Bougaïeff is a multi-talented artist is a mild euphemism. Having studied musique concrete at the Conservatoire de Montréal, the artist then went to England where he did a thesis on minimal techno, before moving again to Berlin this time in 2008. It's in the German capital that Nicolas Bougaïeff made his debut, both as a producer and as a music software writer for names such as Richie Hawtin. Since then, the artist has been playing on both sides, finding his ground behind turntables, but also in conferences and other masterclasses.
Nicolas Bougaïeff reveals only progressively his intentions, letting express a jerky rhythm that metamorphoses slowly to achieve a 4/4 persuasive. The rise of the mix is all the more formidable, pulling towards the end towards a dark and heavy hammering, completed on one of the titles of the artist. It is, therefore, a mix that allows us to understand the different facets of his musical personality that we serve here Nicolas Bougaïeff.
