Moiré and Ghostly launch a new interactive experience inspired by the themes, sounds, and images from Moire's new album, No Future.
"The idea behind Monolith was to start an immersive app / interactive prototype," Moiré says. "Based around the idea of humans exploring a utopian vision with the use of basic AI and game engine tools."
Originally designed by Moiré and further developed by Oakland designer Isaac Cohen, Monolith is an alternative way to connect with No Future and dive deeper into the new album. "That is something the monolith symbolizes: the hidden destiny that humankind instinctively follows." Moiré continues: "That constant looping of evolution and moving forward by repeating the same decisions that create a ”no future" situation. In that sense, the game has no end."
No Future is out Friday, February 17 on Ghostly International.
