A bit more than 10 years ago Curses released his first EP on Institubes, the late label with Teki Latex, Para One, Surkin and Bobmo. An electro more "turbine" as it was said in 2007. Then he took his time and left off to mature his sound in a Berlin setting. Sanded the disks of DAF, Kraftwerk and the DJ sets of Helena Hauff and later on he crossed the road of Jennifer Cardini and her label Dischi Autunno. The French "popesse" of this hybrid genre between electronics and rock. The result? A flawless record which is classy, dirty, eclectic but coherent and as danceable as it is at home with a glass of Brandy or all along a road trip through Bavaria. Have a listen to his new album 'Romantic Fiction' whilst reading the interview.
