Prequel Tapes unleashes heavy industrial audio-visual drone. Oscillating between utopian to claustrophobic, forged between the forest and the autobahn, the work evokes the clangorous energy of early European ambient and industrial with a distinctly German take. The music video is a collaboration with visual artist Ksenia Mozhayskaya aka nomoreless, who listened to the music many times in order to "see" the story behind. Then she drew the images and from there turned the animation into a video.
Ahead of his new album release, 'Everything Is Quite Now', Prequel Tapes will perform together with nomoreless and Valentin Tszin at Atonal in Berlin this Saturday on 25th August. Everything Is Quite Now comes out on Gaffa Tape Records on 7 September.
