His current and past productions have frequently earned Dax BBC Radio 1 airplay throughout the years, including his tracks being consistently featured in the BBC's Essential Mix episodes from DJ’s such as Dave Clarke, Tini, B.Traits, Ben Klock who won Essential Mix of the Year in 2015, and of course in Dax’s very own Essential Mix in 2018.

Dax grew up listening to the UK sounds of Jungle, Drum n Bass and Garage. Being heavily influenced by Drum n Bass heroes like Goldie and Bad Company, his love for the underground meant he soon started to DJ on pirate radios at an early age of 15 whilst he was still at school. He became an avid vinyl collector buying from his local record store "Black Market" on a weekly basis, whilst at the same time producing and crafting his sound. His first vinyl releases would come in 2005 on old Jungle labels like Mickey Finn's "Urban Takeover" under alias "Dangerous" and his own imprint back then "Xplicit Sound." Following on from this Dax went on to discover the sounds of Techno during one summer spent in Ibiza. From this point on his passion for cutting edge 4 by 4 beats took over but the old Jungle influences are still heard today in his DJ sets and productions.

Coming from humble beginnings, as a teenager Dax was kicked out of School in his final year. His new found obsession with DJ’ing and buying records had led him to lose all interest with his studies and due to behaviour issues and constant skipping class the school was forced to get rid of him. The following year, the same story repeated itself, Dax was kicked out of College within just a few months because he was undertaking a course he had absolutely no desire in. It wasn’t until he realised his passion and started studying Music Production that he was able to stay motivated, focus, and go on to complete his college course, which in turn led him to go on and Study Music Technology at Thames Valley University in West London where he received a Bachelor of Honors. During and throughout these early years, with little money, Dax took on any work he could, he went through many dead end jobs, working as a Dustman, in McDonalds, in Factories, delivery driving, call centres, and was signing on the doll. But of course from all of these, Dax either got sacked or ended up walking out within a short space of time. He couldn’t take it and he knew he was destined for much greater things. All of these tiresome experiences pushed Dax to work relentlessly on his music, fueled by the fear of going back to dead end jobs and holding on to the dream of making a success from his true passion.

Fast forward on and Dax now runs his own studio in Berlin where he continues to work relentlessly on his craft. With a constant supply of music set to be released and a tour schedule fully booked up a year in advance around the globe, the UK artist is firmly set for many more successful years to come.
